横田准教授が日本生物物理学会 第10回Biophysics and Physicobiology Editors' Choice Awardを受賞しました
横田准教授が日本生物物理学会の英文誌Biophysics and Physicobiologyに執筆した招待総説が、第10回Biophysics and Physicobiology Editors' Choice Award（2023）の受賞対象となりました。
2023年11月に名古屋国際会議場で開催された第46回日本生物物理学会年会の懇親会で表彰式が行われました。
日本生物物理学会では、前年にBiophysics and Physicobiology誌に掲載された論文（依頼論文は原則対象外）の中から、編集委員会による選考を経て、生物物理学に寄与するユニークな論文に対して、「Biophysics and Physicobiology Editors' Choice Award」を授与しています。

“Quantitative and kinetic single-molecule analysis of DNA unwinding by Escherichia coli UvrD helicase”

Two conflicting models of the functional unit of helicase, monomeric and dimeric, were validated using the author's single-molecule imaging technique.
